This place needs more moderation for misleading titles.
The recent news is about a Piscatella report on how MK8 Deluxe is outselling the newer entry, MK World
Except this is completely false. It has been made clear that Piscatella's report dosent count digital sales, and as such the Switch 2 bundle
Basically, MK8 is outselling World only because we are not counting something like 80% of World's sales.
Sadly the the title of the Polygon article left this extremely important info out. And opening the actual article is too hard for us as well.
Now, outside of this specific case, this shows a bigger problem with this sub and overall the Gaming news industry
Clickbait or incomplete titles are a problem, but the fact that most of us here refuse to open the news itself is and even bigger one.
A good chunk of the discussions here are often pointless due to them being based on an false or incomplete info.
Stop stopping at the title!
