Hi all,

I’m new to RAM overclocking and looking for advice on pushing my Lexar 6000MHz CL26 DDR5 kit (running at 1.45V) with my 7800X3D system. I want to increase the MHz, but I want to keep things safe, as this is for daily use and I don’t plan to use any RAM cooling fans.

I’ve found two timing profiles online for inspiration:

  • Buildzoid’s guide for 8000MHz CL30 (probably would aim for CL34/32 if I tried to adapt it( link
  • Overclocking.com’s profile for 6600MHz CL26 (link)

I’m not sure which path makes more sense for this kit and my setup:

  • Should I try scaling down Buildzoid’s looser timings to something more realistic for my kit?
  • Or just use the 6600MHz CL26 profile from Overclocking.com?

Also, the Overclocking.com profile uses ~1.62V for 6600MHz CL26. Do you think that’s safe without fans, or is there a chance it could work closer to 1.45–1.5V?

Any tips or personal experience with this kit would be super helpful. Thanks!
