BAKERSFIELD, Calif.(KBAK/KBFX) — Deputies arrested a 36-year-old man on Monday after they seized an illegal “fish table” gaming machine during a home search in Lake Isabella.

KCSO said on August 25, 2025, at around 4 p.m., deputies served a search warrant in the 3800 block of Higham Avenue.

In the search, deputies seized an illegal “fish table” gaming machine related to unlicensed gambling activity. KCSO also found several alleged stolen items related to burglaries in the Kern River Valley area.

Jesse James Peal, 36, was arrested for several felony charges, including possession of a gambling machine, possession of stolen property, burglary, and possession of narcotics.
