This is a scatter plot of players HLTV T-sided and CT-sided ratings in Big Events in 2025 (see here). Top right quadrant is above average T and CT ratings, top-left is higher CT-side rating than T-side, and bottom-right is higher T-side rating thatn CT-side. Some neat things:
- donk, m0NESY and ropz have a higher T-side rating (1.46, 1.28, 1.20) than CT-side (1.40, 1.22, 1.19)
- With the donk and ZywOo head-to-head, on CT-side the two only have 0.04 rating between them (1.40, 1.36), while on T-side donk leads by 0.13 (1.45, 1.32)
- I also want to note just how far donk and ZywOo are on CT-side compared to the rest of the players, with sh1ro and m0NESY being tied 3rd with a rating of 1.22 (0.14 below ZywOo in 2nd). The gap between 2nd and 3rd here is the same as 3rd and 24th (REZ and YEKINDAR at 1.08).
- This is not the case on T-side, where donk is ahead alone, where the difference between 1st and 2nd is 0.13, between 2nd and 3rd is 0.04.
- torzsi and molodoy have significantly higher ratings on CT-side (1.20, 1.20) than on T-side (1.02, 0.99), dropping from tied 5th highest CT rating to 39th and 50th out of 91 players
- apEX is tied with torzsi as being the biggest CT-side merchants, with a difference of 0.21 between their CT-side (1.12, 1.20) and their T-side (0.91, 0.99) ratings
- yuurih and Staeher represent the opposite, having higher T-sided ratings (6th at 1.15, 7th at 1.14) than CT-sided (53rd at 0.98, 63rd at 0.94)
- FL4MUS is tied with Staeher as being the biggest T-side merchants, with a difference of 0.2 between their T-side (1.04, 1.14) and their CT side (0.84, 0.94) ratings
- G2 has the largest average difference between their T-side (1.06) and CT-side (0.98) at 0.08, with MOUZ being second with an average difference of 0.07 between T-side (1.01) and CT-side (1.08)
