I am launching a collaborative project called the Cyberpunk Anthology—an open-source collection of short stories exploring the gritty, high-tech, low-life worlds we all love. Think rogue AIs, corporate dystopias, digital ghosts, and rebellion in the rain soaked alleys of the future.
What It Is
My proposal is to make a GitHub-hosted anthology where writers or artist from around the world contribute original cyberpunk-themed short stories or improve on existing stories on the repo. If you want to share your original work then share that too. My plan is that each month, the community votes on a featured story, which gets highlighted in the repo.
How You Can Contribute
- Fork the GitHub repo irtiq7/Cyberpunk_Anthology: A social experiment to crowd source a cyberpunk story
- Add your story in the
stories/folder as a Markdown file - Include metadata like title, author, date, and a short summary
- Submit a pull request
- Vote and engage with other creators
I am sure we can do more with this but I am happy to hear what you think. I have added a short story called Neon Ghost, it is just some random ideas of a rogue AI. Maybe, we can improve on it too.
