Welcome to the final day of the Opening Round at The World Games 2025 Men’s Softball competition in Chengdu, China. Today’s four games will determine the four teams that will advance to Saturday’s semifinals.
In Group A, all teams remain in contention for a semifinal berth. Japan lead the group with a 2-0 record and will face Argentina (1-1) today, while Venezuela (1-1) take on Czechia (0-2).
Group B presents a clearer picture. USA (2-0) have already secured first place in the group and will meet Australia (0-2), who have been eliminated from medal-round contention. The clash between Canada and Singapore (both 1-1) will decide the second semifinalist from the group.
