Here you’ll find a list of hotfixes that address various issues related to World of Warcraft: The War Within, Cataclysm Classic, Season of Discovery, WoW Classic Era, and Hardcore. Some of the hotfixes below take effect the moment they were implemented, while others may require scheduled realm restarts to go into effect. Please keep in mind that some issues cannot be addressed without a client-side patch update. This list will be updated as additional hotfixes are applied.

Mists of Pandaria Classic
The achievement Where’s my Air Support? is now awarded as intended.
Classes
Fixed a bug that caused macros for some spells, such as Charge, Jab, and Sprouting Mushrooms to incorrectly return the “Spell not Learned” error.
Druid
Guardian
Rejuvenation no longer resets the swing timer while Heart of the Wild is active.
Heart of the Wild’s cooldown refund now only triggers if the player is shifting into Bear Form.
Developers’ notes: This cooldown refund for Guardian druids will now only trigger if the player has been out of Bear Form for at least 3 seconds, and will not trigger if the player has not shifted into Bear Form at all since logging in.
Hunter
The pet ability Growl will now automatically turn off autocasting when entering a dungeon or raid.
Mage
Ring of Frosts cast through Presence of Mind now correctly has a 2 second arming time, which is correctly reduced by Haste.
Monk
Chi Torpedo and Roll can no longer be stopped by a cancelaura macro.
Rogue
Vanishing with Subterfuge talented and then picking up the Shadow Sight debuff in Arena now causes the Rogue to exit stealth.
Currencies
The Honor Quartermasters Lok’nor Bloodfist and Hayden Christophen now offer players Motes of Harmony for 400 Honor.
The Honor Quartermasters in Pandaria now offer the Honor to Justice conversion.
The Justice Quartermaster Lo ping now offer players Motes of Harmony for 600 Justice Points.
The Justice Quartermaster in Pandaria now offers the Justice to Honor conversion.
Developers’ notes: We feel that it was too disruptive for players to return to Cataclysm vendors to do Honor conversions, and we really like keeping Justice Points relevant for longer.
Items
Golad, Twilight of Aspects and Tiriosh, Nightmare of Ages (the Fangs of the Father daggers) no longer scale up in power for players above level 85.
Chaotic Skyfire Diamond no longer scales up in power for players above level 70.
Powerful Earthsiege Diamond no longer scales up in power for players above level 80.
The Cracked Talisman can no longer be used in combat until the release of the Siege of Orgrimmar content.
Horde players can now correctly summon the Chi-ji Kite and Yu’lon Kites from Inscription.
Quests
Horde players can now correctly use the Shan’ze Dao and Shado-Pan Garrison portals after completing the quest “Through the Portal”.

Mists of Pandaria Classic
You can now board another player’s Grand Expedition Yak if you’re grouped with them and a seat is open.
Mounts that previously could not be used as ground-mounts while inside of areas that do not allow flying (such as Cloud-Serpents or Cataclysm Gladiator Mounts) can now be used as ground-mounts.
Fixed a bug causing Daily Quests to sometimes misbehave on different layers.
The achievement Eternally In The Vale is now correctly granted to players who have completed its criteria.
Pet Battles
Fabled Pandaren Pet Supplies now provide rewards.
Cypress’s stats and abilities have been changed.
Health and Speed increased.
Strength decreased.
Life Sap damage reduced by 10%.
Barkskin replaced by Roar.
Professions
Fixed a bug causing players to get a blank window when fishing.
Fixed a bug that resulted in players being able to learn multiple Alchemy specializations.
Players who have misplaced Recipe: Banana Infused Rum or Tablet of Ren Yun can now purchase a replacement from Sungshin Ironpaw in Halfhill.

Mists of Pandaria Classic
Cranedancer’s Staff is now correctly considered a caster weapon.
Crazy for Cats now requires 15 cats (was 20).
Spawn time for Shao-Tien Surveyor reduced for the daily quest.
Rivett Clutchpop should now remain in the Strongarm Airship if “Instant Messaging” is completed before “They’re So Thorny!” is turned in.
Wintergrasp quests now reward the correct amounts of Honor.
Recipe: Venerable Potion of Invisibility can now be learned, as intended.
Silvershard Envoy now invites Horde players to fight for the Horde (was incorrectly the Alliance).
“Where are My Reinforcements?” now progresses properly.
Vor’thik Dreadshapers and Vor’thik Fear-Shapers are no longer stuck inside buildings and evading.
Players can once again convert 375 Honor points into 250 Justice points or 375 Justice points into 250 Honor points.
Developers’ notes: These exchange rates were adjusted in the 5.4 patch of original MoP, and we may revisit them again in a future patch of MoP Classic.
Archaeology
Mantid archaeology can now be solved.
Developers’ notes: While these were not originally available until the 5.2 patch, we feel that it’s appropriate to get started on them now, rather than waiting.
Dungeons and Raids
Dungeon Finder: Mists of Pandaria Normal should once again exist as an option for level 90 characters.
Scholomance
Dark Blaze should no longer disappear, and the spell visual has been improved to be clearer.
Serpentshrine Cavern
Lady Vashj’s Tainted Core no longer roots level 90 players.
Pet Battles
Arcane Eye spawn rate slightly increased.

Mists of Pandaria Classic
Spawn rates and item drop rates for “They’re So Thorny!” and “Forensic Science” have been significantly increased.
The Season 12 PvP Honor Vendor is now available so that players can spend Honor.
Honor Vendors correctly have their PvP weapon lists attached.
All Conquest Weapons correctly require a Season total for Conquest earned.
Motes of Harmony are not available through Honor or Conquest until a future patch.
Developers’ notes: In original Mists of Pandaria, PvP gear was not added to the Honor Vendors until Arena Season 12 started. In MoP Classic, we’ve added PvP gear to these vendors early, so you can use Honor to buy PvP gear in the offseason/preseason, ahead of next week’s Arena Season start. Dreadful Gladiator Honor PvP Weapons were never available during Season 12 in original Mists of Pandaria. We feel these weapons are a great steppingstone for PvP activities.
Player flight speed is no longer reduced in Netherwing Ledge.
The Kor’kron War Wolf will now correctly appear as the intended color in the Mount Journal.
Dungeons
Jade Temple
Fixed an issue that would occasionally cause Wise Mari’s bubble to fail to burst after Corrupted Living Water was killed.
Temple of the Jade Serpent will now correctly grant the achievement for completing it on Heroic.

Updated the Single-Button Assistant and the Assisted Highlight recommendations to work with the Leydrinker, Glorious Incandescence, and Magi’s Spark talents. They will also wait for maximum Arcane Charges to recommend Arcane Barrage.
Dastardly Duos
Improved the Winner’s Podium upgrades to have a better chance from the rewards chest at the end of a match. This chance increases if you open many chests without getting an upgrade.
Delves
Fixed an issue where the Durable Information Securing Container’s Charged Bolts were targeting Breakable Crowd Controlled targets.
Lorewalking
Fixed an issue where players were able to exit Lorewalking while in combat.

Developers’ notes: A couple of bug fixes alongside tuning changes caused the power of the Charged Bolt effect to go far beyond the other choices, so we’re bringing it more in line with the other choices in this week’s restarts. This will remain top for specs that favor damage procs, but may adjust desired choices for other specs. We’re also buffing Static Charge a bit after the internal cooldown change put it well behind.

Fixed an issue where some BFA Timewalking drops had primary and stamina stats that were higher than intended.
Lorewalking
Fixed an issue occasionally causing players to be stuck in Ny’alotha during Xal’atath Lorewalking.
Fixed an issue that would occasionally cause players in Xal’atath Lorewalking to be removed from the Blade in Twilight artifact acquisition scenario instance after turning in “Lorewalking: The Blade and the High Priest”.
Fixed an issue causing players in Xal’atath Lorewalking to be teleported to Dalaran after viewing certain cutscenes.
Quests
Danath and Geya’rah will no longer be invisible while you are on the quest “Faerin’s Request”.
On “Return to Stromgarde”, Marran’s jail cell door should no longer inexplicably open for seemingly no reason.
Fixed a bug in quest “In a Pinch” where the meaty bait was not showing up. Increased the size of the bait for improved visibility and meatiness.

Fixed an issue where players could become capped on Gallagio Loyalty Rewards reputation earlier than intended. For players who have killed a boss that would have rewarded reputation properly but didn’t, defeating that boss on a separate character this week will yield the intended amount of reputation.
Season of Discovery
The incrementing player buff in Scarlet Enclave now increases by 5% every week (was every 2 weeks).
Developer’s notes: In an effort to support players in Season of Discovery we’ve decided to advance the incrementing player buff in Scarlet Enclave to go up by 5% every week instead of every 2 weeks. Starting today, June 10, the buff will advance to 10%.

Rewards have been moved to Wodin the Troll Servant. Each reward listed with Wodin will show the quest that’s required to obtain it and which week it will become available.
Dastardly Prize Purses now contain 250 Resonance Crystals.

Fixed an issue where the Corrupted Ashbringer questline could get soft locked if you died while inside of Mount Hyjal between quests.
Thisalee will allow you to go to Mount Hyjal after completing her quests, and will no longer allow you back into Mount Hyjal once you are finished there.
If you complete the quest “Falling Into Place” and did not accept the follow-up quest “A Difficult Path” before the Will of the Ashbringer despawned, talk to Rix Xizzix in Booty Bay to get a replacement. How this Goblin got the Inert Ashbringer in his possession? We don’t know, but you’re just glad he found it!

Players in Random Battleground matches can no longer see the names of opposing members until the match begins.
Developers’ notes: We have reinforced the measures taken to prevent players from obtaining information about their potential PvP opponents in advance of a battleground. This is applicable to all rated battlegrounds, unrated battlegrounds, rated brawls, and unrated brawls.
Season of Discovery
The Abandoned Experiment will no longer play its proc sound effect while you are at maximum stacks.
Paladin
Leonid Barthalomew now temporarily exchanges the Scarlet Enclave Holy to Shockadin tier set (in addition to the Retribution to Shockadin set exchange). These will be removed from the vendor list on May 20.
The Shockadin 6-piece set bonus has been adjusted – Now grants 8% spell power per stack of Holy Power consumed while using a one-handed weapon, and 18% spell power per stack of Holy Power consumed when using a 2-handed weapon (was 15% spell power per stack of Holy Power consumed).
Enchanting
Access to the New Avalon Mage Tower now requires Enchanting 280 (was 300), matching the requirements of the rest of the puzzle.

When casting Reins of Anu’relos you will now be awarded the bonus items if you need them. If you have the item in your inventory or already have the tracking quest completed, you will not be given that matching item. Each item is checked separately.
The Feather of the Blazing Somnowl can now be destroyed if you have a duplicate.

Tailoring
Several previous season recipes for Fireweave and Emberfire items can now be trained from Cataclysm Tailoring trainers.
Season of Discovery
Fixed an issue that prevented players who have completed the quest “Decapitation Strike” from being able to view a certain roleplay event that starts at Light’s Hope Chapel when another player turns in the quest “Fall of the Grand Crusader”.
The proc from Mirage will no longer cause the master to stand up when their Mirage casts Arcane Explosion.
Scarlet Enclave
Caldoran now drops 1 additional non-tier token piece of loot.
Lilian Voss now drops a Crusader’s Chalice.
The first boss you loot after Balnazzar now drops a Jostled Chalice Fragment once per week.
Developers’ notes: This means if you did the raid in a linear manner, looting Beatrix would grant you a Jostled Chalice Fragment. But if you forgot to loot her, joined the raid late, or joined a pick up group that was already in progress, the first boss you loot will grant you a Jostled Chalice Fragment.

Achievements
Fixed a bug preventing completion of Gilded of the Undermine. If you have attained item level 675 but have not yet received the achievement, log out in a zone from The War Within (such as Dornogal) and then log back in.

Fixed a bug causing Shield Charge to deal damage extra times or to targets near their starting position.

Priory of the Sacred Flame
Resolved a Captain Dailcry issue where Hurl Spear could damage players that were not in the indicated path of his spear.
Items
Carved Blazikon Wax bonus Versatility increased by 150%.
Entropic Skardyn Core Intellect increased by 15% and fragments will attempt to return to the core.
Soulletting Ruby Critical Strike increased by 10%.
Mounts
Fixed a bug that caused Ground Skimming during Skyriding to recover less vigor than intended.
Nightfall Event
Increased all Flame’s Radiance reputation gains by 100%, including first time completion, Quest, and Weekly Quest reputation rewards.
Nightfall Item vendors now offer all Arathi Abbot’s, Arathi Cleric’s, Arathi Crusader’s, and Arathi Zealot’s weapons and shields.
Transmogrification
Fixed an issue where the Mythic and Elite variants of the Shaman Liberation of Undermine class set gloves were missing additional lightning visual effects.
Season of Discovery
Elemental Invasions now spawn every 1-2 hours (was every 24-48 hours).
The Grand Arcanist and Grand Sorcerer enchants now additionally grant Healing Power equal to the same amount of spell power.
The Grand Arcanist and Grand Sorcerer enchants now have a 0.1 second cooldown on them to prevent players from getting multiple procs of the mana restoration effect on a singular spell cast.
The Grand Arcanist and Grand Sorcerer enchants can now proc from non-periodic healing spells that heal during combat.
The Mirage summoned from the Mirage, Rod of Illusion will no longer attempt to melee attack under certain conditions.
Immolation Traps will no longer Melee during the Alexei the Beastlord encounter.

The Naxxramas damage 4-piece bonus will now correctly apply to and activate the Corruption applied by the Scarlet Enclave tank 2-piece bonus.
The Scarlet Enclave Tank 4-piece bonus now correctly applies its heal from Corruption ticks off the instant tick from the Naxxramas damage 4-piece bonus.

Resolved an issue causing the Cooldown Manager to track the duration of Power Word: Shield on the Priest instead of tracking its cooldown.
Holy
Fixed an issue causing Prayer of Healing to be able to be displayed on the Cooldown Manager when not talented.
Rogue
Trickster: Fixed an issue that prevented Blade Flurry and Nimble Flurry from dealing increased damage to targets with the Fazed debuff applied.
Assassination
Kingsbane can no longer be parried.
Outlaw
Fixed an issue that could cause Blade Flurry to strike below the maximum number of available targets when fighting near dead enemies.
Fixed an issue that caused Blade Flurry to deal an incorrect amount of damage with the Deft Maneuvers talent selected.
Fixed an issue that prevented Roll the Bones’ Grand Melee buff from updating Blade Flurry’s damage output dynamically when gaining or losing the buff.

Trickster: Fixed an issue that could cause Nimble Flurry to strike below the maximum number of available targets when fighting near dead enemies.

Fixed an issue causing damage from Acid Rain to not generate threat or aggro enemies.

Hellcaller: Fixed an issue where Blackened Soul would not generate a stack if two Soul Shard spenders were cast in quick succession.
Hellcaller: Fixed an issue where Wither would not pandemic when refreshed with no stacks.
Demonology
Fixed an issue where Shadow Bolt would appear on the essential cooldown bar without Diabolic Ritual being learned.
Fixed an issue where Hand of Gul’dan would appear on the essential cooldown bar without Secrets of the Coven being learned.
Fixed an issue where Hand of Gul’dan and Chaos Bolt would glow whenever Demonic Art was active.

Resolved an issue preventing looting the quest object after another player looted it first in “Preserve the Legacy” from the Fate of the Kirin Tor questline.
Season of Discovery
Lucky Doubloon now has a small 1.5 second cooldown, even if you flip heads to clear the cooldown on the item. This is to prevent it from being flipped multiple times unintentionally.
The Quartermaster’s Crate is now provided upon acceptance of “Prove Your Worth” from Bryon Steelblade.

Paladin
The Avenging Shield buff granted from the Scarlet Enclave 6-piece set bonus for Protection Paladins correctly lasts the same duration as Avenging Wrath.
Scarlet Enclave
There are now 3 Torn Pages containing Torn Diary Pages in them in Scarlet Enclave. These should be lootable by and tradable to players who were present for the Reborn Council encounter. Torn Pages should no longer disappear if there is a soft reset after the Reborn Council but before Lillian Voss.
Berserk Timers for all bosses, except Caldoran, have been increased to 10 minutes.
Caldoran will now Berserk 6 minutes after Phase 2 begins (was 5 minutes after).
The aggro radiuses of the Reborn Council have been lowered to allow for easier prepositioning before pulling the boss.
