An interesting video from the Taipei IT 2025 convention recently surfaced on YouTube. It featured Oil King and ET playing against each other in a new fighting game.
This particular fighting game appears to be based on the Romance of the Three Kingdoms and Dynasty Warriors franchises. The playable characters right now are Guan Yu, Lu Bu, Diao Chan, Xun Yu, Xiahou Dun, Dong Zhuo, Sun Shangxiang and Zhang Fei.
Based on the released footage, this fighting game appears to play similarly to Soul Calibur. In other words, this is a 3D fighting game in which characters are capable of using the 3D space to sidestep opponents’ attacks.
According to a translation of a Taiwanese blog post about the game, each character is armed with a default main weapon and various choices of secondary weapons. It is believed that the secondary weapons have durability values.
There does not appear to be any resources that can contribute towards super attacks or any other comeback mechanics. In many ways, it’s the type of game that forces players to rely on fundamentals.
For now, it would seem that the game is only being announced for the PC and mobile devices. Additionally, it’s not known if this game will see an international release.
