Although it was technically last year that SNK’s flagship franchise King of Fighters was celebrating its 30th anniversary, they are still keeping the celebration alive with new announcements.

One of the latest ones is an interesting one — special wristwatches based on two of the most famous characters in the franchise, the eternal rivals Kyo Kusanagi and Iori Yagami have been shown and will open for pre-orders soon.

The two watches are clearly based on their respective characters’ color schemes and attributes, with the Kyo watch being a clean silver accompanied by a black background surface and the Kusanagi symbol in gold.

Iori’s on the other hand is an onyx black and has a silver moon pattern as its background surface with purple and red details to highlight Iori’s general costume and his purple flames.

They will each retail for ¥29,700 (roughly $203) and pre-orders open on Tuesday, August 5th via the Japanese site Anime Collection.

These are estimated to be ready to ship in March 2026 and they come with a few extra specials like a watch case in the shape of a MVS arcade cabinet, a guarantee card reminiscent of the iconic King of Fighters invitation letters and a special watch stand featuring art of the watch character.
