During today’s launch of the Lenzee Games-developed souls-like Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, Steam numbers have already achieved significant feats.
According to the Steam Database, the game has reached a concurrent player peak of 114,132, surpassing and reaching the heights of many of its genre contemporaries.
However, the Steam user reviews are currently mostly negative, with only a staggering 24% being positive at the time of this writing.
It appears that there is substantial critique and negative reception toward the title’s overall performance for many PC setups.
Of course, this reception may fluctuate rapidly and patches may be rolled out to address this backlash. Still, it’s worth doing some research into your PC specs if you’re interested in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers and haven’t bought it yet.
About Wuchang: Fallen Feathers
Set during the late Ming Dynasty in the land of Shu, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, the setting contains a mysterious illness that transforms people into monsters.
Players control Wuchang, a pirate warrior afflicted with amnesia and a condition known as Feathering. Throughout the journey, it is possible to master new skills obtained from fallen enemies. Sacrificing the rare Red Mercury resource will enable the evolution of Wuchang’s fighting style and the development of unique techniques for various approaches. Weapons can also be augmented with enchantments.
Wuchang: Fallen Feathers is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, the Microsoft Store, and the Epic Games Store.
