Hunter x Hunter: Nen Impact finally released last week, and there’s a new update available for the game now.

Bushiroad Games and Arc System Works released the Version 1.05 patch notes for their tag-team fighting game that came out today.

The primary purpose of this Nen Impact patch is to try and fix a number of the desync issues that have been impacting the game’s online play since launch.

Problems with the rollback netcode in general have been widely reported for the game though they will hopefully be ironed out in the near future.

The developers released a notice last week confirming issues with high rollback frames and match disconnects from desyncs that they’re investigating — and some of the latter have been presumably fixed in this update.

They’re also planning to add a feature in a future patch to show more detailed connection information when selecting opponents online.

You can check out the Version 1.05 patch notes for Hunter x Hunter: Nen Impact below as well as the online issues notice.

• Fixed an issue where the hit detection of Aura Arts could be delayed under certain conditions.

• Fixed a bug where a desync error could occur when Eject Attack hit.

• Fixed a bug where a desync could occur during character switching.

• Fixed an issue where a desync could happen when Hisoka used “Bungee Gum [Pull].”

• Fixed a bug where a desync error could occur during midair piercing attacks.

Thank you for your continued support of HUNTER×HUNTER NEN×IMPACT.
We would like to inform our users that the following issues have been identified in the online battle functionality of the game:

Confirmed Issues

1. An issue where excessive rollback frames occur during matches, resulting in gameplay disruption

In certain environments, an abnormal increase in rollback frames may be observed during online matches. This can lead to input delays or visual inconsistencies that negatively impact the gameplay experience.

We are currently working on a fix for this issue; however, we kindly ask for your patience as the resolution may require some time.

Additionally, this phenomenon has been found to occur more frequently under unstable network conditions. We strongly recommend playing under a stable and reliable internet connection whenever possible.

2. An issue where matches forcibly terminate due to desynchronization errors

In some instances, a failure in the synchronization process between players has been observed, resulting in unexpected match termination.

We are currently investigating the root cause and implementing fixes as they become available.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding as we continue to address these issues in an orderly manner.

Upcoming Update Plans

In an upcoming update, we plan to introduce a feature that will allow players to view more detailed information regarding their opponent’s connection quality and region.

This enhancement is part of our broader efforts to provide a more stable and comfortable matchmaking environment.

We extend our sincerest apologies for the inconvenience these issues may have caused.

The development team remains fully committed to improving the online battle experience and ensuring the highest possible level of quality.

Thank you once again for your continued support of Hunter x Hunter: Nen Impact.
