Last week, Tekken 8 got its latest update patch with Version 2.03.01.
The patch was generally focused on bringing down the capabilities of a few characters as well as buffing Devil Jin specifically, and while it wasn’t the most major balance patch it did produce some notable differences for a few characters, resulting in Kuwaiti competitor yOReDz making a new tier list.
yOReDz himself is a Xiaoyu main who has produced solid results so far in Tekken 8 with the most notable placing being earlier this year at Evo Japan 2025 where he reached a tied 13th place among almost 1,000 entrants — quite the accomplishment, indeed.
Now that we’ve had a bit more than a week with the new version, the added character Fahkumram and a few tournaments happen since then, yOReDz decided it was time to produce this new tier list on X.
While there’s definitely familiar things here — Nina, Bryan and Anna all being at the top — there are also some notable differences from what we’ve seen in earlier versions of Season 2.
Asuka being as high up as she is, for one, but also Zafina dropping like a rock after her adjustments.
