Before the mod, the CPU would instantly hit 100°C in Cinebench R23, pulling just around 60W before thermal throttling kicked in. After applying PTM, the CPU briefly spiked up to 119W even though its official max TDP is 115W which caused it to self-limit.😁 It then stabilized between 90–100W, with a peak temperature of 95°C. That’s a huge upgrade in sustained power and thermal headroom.
GPU temps also improved significantly. Before, it would reach 87°C during FurMark stress testing. Now, after the PTM sheet, the max GPU temperature was just 78°C. And since PTM performs better over time with heat cycles, I expect even better temps in the coming days.😎
