It’s been over a month since Elena and the Season 3 patch were dropped for Street Fighter 6. Since then, players have established a good feel for the new meta.
As such, Pochoclo23 recently released his first tier list for Season 3 of Street Fighter 6. Characters have been divided up into the S+, S, A+, A, B and “R.I.P.” tier categories.
Akuma, JP, M. Bison, Mai and Ryu are said to be the strongest characters in the game right now. Pochoclo23 did not elaborate on whether or not combatants are ordered within each group.
Guile, Juri, Terry, Rashid and Cammy are also said to be very strong right now due to their placement in the S tier group. However, the characters above them have been declared to be the “monsters” and “boss characters” of Street Fighter 6 right now.
Things are looking especially bad for E. Honda and Manon due to their positions in the “R.I.P.” tier. Marisa, Dhalsim and Lily are also said to be struggling as they’ve been placed in the tier just directly above E. Honda and Manon.
According to Pochoclo23, every character in Street Fighter 6 are said to be viable except for E. Honda, Manon, Marisa, Dhalsim and Lily. The game has a huge focus on neutral play, but defensive tools feel lacking at the moment.
