LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – As football fans prepare for the upcoming season, United Airlines is adding two new flights to the Lincoln Airport for Nebraska home games.
This year, United is adding direct round-trip service for the below Husker home games:
Sept. 20, Michigan playing Nebraska – adding a direct flight between Detroit (DTW) and Lincoln.Nov. 1, USC playing Nebraska – adding a direct flight between Los Angeles (LAX) and Lincoln.
“We’ve added flights across the country to some of the biggest college football matchups, giving fans more options to get in on the action and follow their team on the road this season,” said James Starnes, director of domestic scheduling at United.
Along with the two flights heading to LNK, United is also adding 24 nonstop flights to some of the biggest college games of the season.
