LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – Dani Busboom Kelly kicked off the 41st annual Cornhusker State Games with a torch lighting ceremony Thursday evening.

The torch relay, escorted by soldiers from the Nebraska Air National Guard, carried the flame across the pedestrian bridge to the area outside Pinnacle Bank Arena, where Busboom Kelly completed the ceremony by lighting the caldron.

The ceremony took place during Opening Night festivities, a free program open to the public.
