Sekai Project has announced they will publish the upcoming visual novel Nandomeka No Hajimemashite, developed by Purple Software, for PC in the West. The game is scheduled to launch with a Chinese-language version in October 2025, followed by an English release in February 2026. The publisher has also confirmed they have not settled on a western title at this time.

The visual novel will be available on PC via Steam in an all-ages format. An adult version will also be offered, either as a standalone build or through a free patch available on Sekai Project’s official website. This mirrors the publisher’s usual distribution model, giving players the option to experience the title as originally intended.

A New Time-Loop Romance from the Team Behind Chrono Clock

Nandomeka No Hajimemashite 2

Nandomeka No Hajimemashite follows Yumeto Kino, a worn-down office worker who stumbles across a mysterious grimoire. After reading it aloud, he finds himself transported thirteen years into the past, back in high school. There, he meets Sui Chomai, an unfamiliar upperclassman who claims she knows him, and a strange cat-like being named Lapla, who insists he has a mission to complete. The setup leans heavily into themes of regret, memory, and second chances, with a supernatural twist that gives it a familiar Purple Software flair.

The scenario is penned by Sakaki Kasa, known for their work on Aoi Tori, while character designs come from longtime Purple Software artist Koku. The story appears to mix grounded emotional drama with light mystery elements and fantasy undertones, continuing the studio’s tradition of character-driven narratives with a philosophical edge.
