I don’t think you should invest in video game skins at all if you’re trying to make money. You’ll get better returns in more legitimate markets and better reliability. If it’s just for fun or a hobby then by all means no judgement, but don’t have unrealistic expectations about the risks and rewards of skin trading
I think with the new lighting engine, Dopplers and by extension, Gamma Dopplers and practically every other shiny knife deserve to be expensive. The issue is that the market is being pumped and everything looks better now, case in point with the Butterfly Knife Freehand. Like bro even Scorched or Rust Coat looks somewhat good now. The prices are still a bit too high, I think they should go back to prices few months after CS2's release.

If a new update brings more content (good content) how it affects the market, it goes up or down? and if they release a new case, the older ones get cheaper or expensive?

Now if you are going to change the narrative why the MarketCap of Cs2 is increasing then its bullshit.
The market cap is actually a decent amount higher than that. The site misses a lot items that exist including high tier knives and gloves which artifically lowers the market cap. It is a good gauge though. I would estimate another 10-15% is true market cap but it could be more.
