We’ve all been there — Rashid unleashed his Ysaar, you’re stuck in the corner in burnout and hell is about to ensue. This clip, though, actually takes place right after such a sequence.

Capcom Cup 11 competitor Sole, who is playing Terry in this clip, has just weathered the storm (literally) and is coming out of burnout when the Rashid decides to apply more pressure to him… which unfortunately for him ends up spelling his own doom.

Sole, obviously fully aware of his Drive Gauge situation, reacts to the Rashid player’s followup after his heavy attack and lands a perfect parry. Then another one. And another one..

After this sequence of three perfect parries in a row, Sole has everything set up to punish his opponent and while Perfect Parries scale you quite heavily, doing a hit into a Level 3 Super Art would likely be enough to finish the job.

However, Sole instead opts to go full highlight post by unleashing a devastating sequence which actually gives a full corner carry before finally ending it with Terry’s alternate 3-bar super which can be used as a followup after his Level 2, Power Geyser.

The Capcom Cup 11 qualifier who showcased his A.K.I. gameplay at Capcom’s main event earlier this year, posted the highlight with the simple statement “Terry is fun” — a sentiment we can hopefully all get behind.
