We learned last week that Sagat, the first character of Street Fighter 6’s third season, will be joining the fray on August 5th (though if you happen to be attending Evo, you can try him out early.)

With Sagat’s arrival imminent, Street Fighter 6 director Takayuki Nakayama took to X to share some materials on the character.

In his X post, Nakamura mentions that this is “Sagat body concept art” and its artist is Fukumorikun, one of Capcom’s artists on Street Fighter 6.

The art showcases Sagat’s imposing stature (something we saw quite clearly in his teaser trailer where he towers over the player avatar), but also some of his iconic poses.

His idle standing pose, Tiger Shot pose and Tiger Knee pose can all be glimpsed in this artwork.

Sagat’s idle pose is also superimposed over Ryu and Luke to show his impressive height in comparison to the two.

It won’t be long before Sagat enters the battle, but until then hopefully these materials will help tide you over until we face the actual return of the king.
