The Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite & Beyond mod project brought a revival to the maligned fighting game late last year, and now it’s even better than before.
Maximilian Dood and the rest of the talented development team recently released the Version 1.1 update for Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite & Beyond that adds more new content and features to the overhaul mod.
In their brief showcase trailer, they’ve added a mod manager to customize which mods you have running as well as a mod settings menu to delve into.
There’s brand new community-made character select artwork as well, but that’s certainly not all that’s there for content additions.
The team has also added more costumes for fighters like Spider-Man, Strider, Winter Soldier, Thor, Chun-Li, Ryu and Hulk.
On top of that, a new online Frenzy Mode is now available where you can control both team members on screen at the same time.
It’ll be interesting to see if the team has more they’ve got cooking up for future updates though it doesn’t appear that anything more has been revealed yet.
The Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite & Beyond project completely revamps the Marvel experience by changing up the game’s graphics, gameplay, balance and much more.
More information can be found on the Infinite & Beyond website.
