Hessen Crash is one of the last Esports World Cup qualifiers for Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, holding one of the coveted spots so players will be showing up to secure their chance in the $1,000,000 prize pool tournament. It’s also part of the SNK World Championship, so the winner books their ticket to SNK’s own finals as well.
It’s also a Gold event on the Arc World Tour for both Guilty Gear Strive and Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising.
Leading the charge in entrants is Street Fighter 6 with just over 100 participants followed by Tekken 8 with more than 65 players. Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves surpassed the 60 competitor mark while Guilty Gear Strive and Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising each sit at more than 55 signups. There will also be tournament play for BlazBlue: Central Fiction, Lethal League Blaze, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Under Night In-Birth 2 [Sys:celes], Guilty Gear Xrd REV 2, Skullgirls: 2nd Encore and Rivals of Aether 2.
