The tag team fighting game space has suddenly become a bit crowded with 2XKO, Hunter x Hunter: Nen Impact, Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls and the newest kid on the block Invincible VS on the horizon.
Skybound Games and Quarter Up released a new gameplay trailer for Invincible VS today focusing on the titular hero from the series.
Invincible appears to be a rushdown focused character who wants to get in your face quickly and beat you down with raw power.
We can see in the trailer that Mark has a rush punch special to force his way in as well as a few others like a big uppercut and special aerial combo at his disposal.
They also show off a couple of his Supers with one being a bit reminiscent of Spider-Man’s Maximum Spider from the Marvel vs. Capcom series.
This is what the official character description has to say about Invincible in the game:
“Invincible is a balanced character with rushdown options, great mobility, and dynamic movement, making him an ideal ‘point’ fighter. He can easily convert nearly any hit into a full combo.”
Although Quarter Up is a new studio, it is made up of former Double Helix developers, who originally worked on the Killer Instinct reboot.
Invincible VS is slated to release in 2026 on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
