So I love Keanu, and I like Refused’s music but listening to both their voices, they don’t sound like the same person. For me at least, the Johnny that Keanu gave us feels like he’d have a more Pantera/Dead Kennedys/Motörhead sound. I’m aware they have different sounds from each other, but I think it woulda made more sense for Johnny to have a gravelly rasp from the smoking, drinking and shouting. Something harsher and less in tune yknow? More of a shout from the soul. Lemme know what you think or if there’s another band that might’ve worked too.
