With the announcement of Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection, we’ve picked up a few more details about what fans can expect of the game when it’s released.
First off the game has super low system requirements, only needing a Nvidia GeForce 8800GT or a ATI Radeon HD 4800 Series or greater card to play these games.
The GeForce 8800GT was released in 2007, and the ATI Radeon HD 4800 followed in 2008. These cards are close to 18-years-old, so you can play the Kollection on very old PC hardware.
The CPU required is a Intel i3 @ 3.0GHz or AMD equivalent, and 8 gigabytes of RAM, with a machine running Windows 10 or newer.
Also, as part of the official description for the game it’s noted that at the touch of a button, you can unlock all secret characters, change game settings, and access the buried developer menus to play the games your way.
The Mortal Kombat games have some truly intriguing options often included in the developer menus, and the franchise is super well known for its secrets, so having the ability to easily access these things should present some very fun options.
On top of that, this Kollection will also let players explore the franchise’s lore for the early games, with a timeline of the original series’ story lines and character histories, which includes behind the scenes details for the arcade era.
