Tyrese Haliburton will have to decide, in this series, if he can put his stamp on the game with his scoring early on. It’s always been a little out of his comfort zone to hunt his own shot in his first stint, as he likes to build the tempo for everyone else. But the Thunder defense is way too good to keep coming back against. Their hands are so good in the driving lanes that even Haliburton can’t get past their point of attack coverages.
He’s had a good fourth quarter, and I’m sure the Pacers will come back and win this game because I’m saying this. But Haliburton needs to be more assertive getting to his floater in the first quarter.
