On Friday 14 June, the gym at IES L’Arabí in l’Alfàs del Pi will once again host L’Alfàs Party – a free tech and gaming event organised by the local Youth Department, aimed especially at teenagers and young adults.
The event promises a full-on evening of digital entertainment, with activities focused on video games, new technologies and youth culture. Visitors can enjoy open gaming areas, eSports tournaments, virtual reality workshops, console competitions, tech talks and much more – including retro games from the ‘80s and ‘90s.
Carolina Solbes, youth councillor for l’Alfàs del Pi, highlighted the event this week during its launch, alongside Marvi García from Logro Desbloqueado, the company coordinating the event.
“Technology plays a huge role in young people’s everyday lives,” said Solbes. “With this kind of event, we aim to bring it closer in a fun, educational and safe way. We encourage all young people to take part and enjoy a truly unique experience designed with them in mind.”

What to expect
L’Alfàs Party will be divided into five main zones:
Virtual Reality
Driving Simulators
LAN Zone
Mobile Gaming Tournaments
Freeplay Consoles including Xbox, PS5 and more
As in previous editions, the LAN Zone will be limited to pre-registered users who bring their own gaming gear and can connect to a high-speed network set up just for the event. Participants will compete in popular multiplayer games such as League of Legends, Valorant, Overwatch and CSGO.
In the Open Access Zone, attendees will get hands-on access to the latest generation consoles like the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, and take part in tournaments for titles including Fall Guys, Parchís Star, Tekken, Fortnite and Rocket League. A special Arcade Zone will also be available, featuring classic machines and retro consoles from the 1980s and 90s.
Meanwhile, the Mobile and Simulator Zone will offer high-speed Wi-Fi so that gamers can play online from their own phones and tablets. Tournaments will include games like Brawl Stars, Clash Royale, Stumble Guys, Roblox and Parchís Stars. There will also be driving simulators with titles such as Forza Time Trial. And if you fancy diving into immersive tech, the VR platforms are sure to be a hit.

Event schedule
Doors open at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday 14 June, and the party runs non-stop until 8:00 a.m. on Sunday 15 June – giving gamers a whole night to enjoy top-speed gaming in a fully immersive environment.
