It’s a bit weird to think that Street Fighter 6 will be celebrating its second birthday in a matter of days, but here we are.
Capcom just announced their plans to hold a 2nd anniversary event in Street Fighter 6, offering players some extra goodies for the occasion as well as activities to take part in.
They haven’t detailed what they are yet exactly, but Capcom states they will be giving away commemorative items to users that’ll likely boil down to things like avatar gear, titles and more along those lines.
On top of that, they will also be running five in-game events to take place over the next month.
There’s going to be a 2nd Anniversary Extreme Battle Tournament, Drive Ticket Rush, Challenge Master and Shop Sale to take advantage of though the fifth remains a mystery for now.
More details will be announced as they arrive in-game, but that’s about all we know is going on right now.
A 2nd Anniversary Fighting Pass is also probably on the way early next week too.
Street Fighter 6 is celebrating its 2nd anniversary on June 2! 🎉
We’re giving everyone some commemorative items next week in gratitude for all the support.
We’ve also got a bunch of events lined up.

Aside from the anniversary, next week will also be a big one for Street Fighter 6, considering Elena, the Season 3 update and Nintendo Switch 2 version of the game are all set to drop on June 5.
We already know that changes are being made to Perfect Parries as well as how throw techs are handled in Season 3 though there may be more system changes coming as well to the game.
Moreover, the developers have highlighted some of the new quality of life features heading to SF6 Season 3 that should make players happy.
Capcom will likely reveal more of what the Season 3 update has to offer in the coming days.
