Square Enix’s and Mistwalker’s collaborative turn-based RPG release, Fantasian Neo Dimension, was recently updated on Steam to remove Denuvo.
For those unaware, Denuvo DRM is an infamous third-party anti-tampering tool usually associated with making games perform worse than they should.
Square often removes Deunvo from the Steam versions of its titles quite a while after their respective releases, and Fantasian Neo Dimension is no different; a recent instance involved Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake.
About Fantasian Neo Dimension
Fantasian is set in a world governed by machines, where the balance of Chaos and Order is the crucial factor in the struggle within this multidimensional universe. Players will take on the role of Leo, who has awakened after an explosion without his memory and is stranded in a strange land. The journey begins to reclaim Leo’s memories as players uncover the truth behind a peculiar mechanical infection consuming mankind.
The standout Dimengeon Battle System lets players trap previously encountered enemies into a separate dimension, freeing up exploration and delivering combat in condensed bursts. This system helps maintain pacing while keeping strategic encounters intact.
Combat follows traditional turn-based mechanics but includes directional targeting, letting players bend attacks and hit multiple enemies based on positioning.
Fantasian Neo Dimension is available on PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
