Evo Japan 2025 is going down this weekend, which means a lot of fighting game action as well as reveals and updates galore.
It seems Sega may be getting in on that action too with the announcement of a new Virtua Fighter Direct coming in a few days.
The Virtua Fighter Direct 2025 Spring broadcast is set to take place this Sunday, May 11, at 6 a.m. PT / 9 a.m. ET though we don’t know how long the video will end up being yet.
Sega’s announcement post states they will reveal “new developments of the Virtua Fighter series,” so that can mean a few things.
We’ll likely be receiving updates on what’s coming next for Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O., but that’s not the most exciting prospect.
There’s also the brand new Virtua Fighter project in development that Sega has been pretty much quiet about since it was revealed last December.
So perhaps it’s finally time to see more of what Sega is cooking for the future here too.
The VF Direct will be held on the official Virtua Fighter YouTube channels, so stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
