A CS2 version of Cache has hit the Steam workshop. Creator FMPONE tweeted that “DE_CACHE has returned for Counter-Strike”. The beloved map is available to download and play today after being absent from CS2 since its release. The map returned to CS:GO with a major visual rework back in 2019 but it never made it back to competitive play.

Do you think Cache will return to the map pool? Which map is it replacing?

  1. Yay, let's keep playing the same maps over and over instead of actually forcing in all the millions of good maps out there and making the pro's actually learn new maps.

  2. Best of all, they didn't put a lot of ridiculous graffiti that has nothing to do with the map and its context.
At Train Valve misrepresented the visual identity of the map with stupid graffiti everywhere besides removing the firefighter's stairs and A heaven from A, that was a stupid decision.
Valve has to stop coloring the maps of imitating a floppy game as valorant. Keep the personality and originality of CS that is better!

  3. Im not sure about the color choices and the textures. Some places look nice, and some look incoherent and hard to read. There just seems like an overuse of different textures and colors. Feels like he went a bit overboard. The Skybox doesnt really seem to fit the lighting on the map either.
