As someone who know people cs is gona be alot better this year
3 things that will actually bring hype:
1. Working AC
2. FPS fixes
3. Server optimizations
but the ultimate thing that drives people out and keep them out is the cheating problem
Players are going up at the same time as Valorant is going down. I play both but theres a huge drout of content on val, skins KEEP going up AND util is becoming TOO spammy
Almost a third or even half of the games are ravaged by cheaters. VALVE has to fix this
i wish they would fix accounts that were active when cs2 came out and they bought csgo before competitive was free then had premier on their account that has happened to my account it lost its status and stats i posted on the forums
as someone who as consistently played a lot of premier, I feel like there have been major improvements to anticheat, Compared to the launch of CS2 there are way less blatant cheaters, in the past 2 months ive only seen cheaters with radar or they are only able to see one person through walls. Ive saeen aim cheaters but it doesnt take long for them to get banned. Seems like cheaters need to pay a higher price for better cheats than before as too many people with the same cheat means the cheat is more easily detectable.
Chinese bot farms are the reason for "increased" player count and manipulated case prices. When the cost to unbox goes up, so do all skins from cases.

this amount of new players ruined my experience compared to CSGO
So many wallers…. so many chinese bot farms. If both arent fixed the game wont live forever. I dont mind the millionaires buying out everything, as lomg as little guys can at least have a chance. I NEVER buy anything video game qise anymore, only old games for old systems. But I decided to drop $200 CAD into the game to see what happens. Its not much but combined with my weekly drops on 2 accounts I will be able to invest/trade and if it all crashes I wont kms. Or I can sell it 3rd party to cash out, or keep them longer. I wont put more in until I know its a bit safter. If theres days I want to quit forever, and I did quit playing csgo for many years, I know many others are on the fence as well. I have almost all play skins now, and few are investments as well that have slowly gone up. The only things I need now are a ST knife, gloves and that will only take 1 year max. By then I will either be bored, quit and sold my skins or they will have 10xd and I will have dope play skins until I do sell.

The problem with this game are the skins and it's insane prices which these Chinese bot farms abuse.
they need to fix anti cheat, optimize game, and add operation boom greatest update
Yeah pretty insane how many cheaters use hacked accounts, farmers buy new accounts. it all sums up to a higher "player base"
