A few days ago BF6 gameplay was revealed, these are some thoughts as to the direction of the franchise and what we can hope for in future First Person Shooter games.

  1. I was absolutely guilty of sitting on the toilet playing commander dropping all manner of bombs. Kinda hope they bring it back.

  2. To watch Modern day social media content like this which is calm & well thought is appreciated so much! 🙂 . Thank-god for ya Frankie haha. Wish more social media content was as clear, thoughtful and well edited cheers.

  3. I want Opfor vs Bluefor, make it so they have separate customization so they don't look alike then have class specific customization gear.

  4. I really hope Commander mode comes back. Imagine being at school, work, or on the train and helping your team with just a few taps on your phone.

  5. Great vid Frankie. Do you feel like the march toward photorealistic games has left behind some of the magic we had with older games? If you think there is a difference is it completely intangible? Ironically, as games have become more visually appealing, I have felt less and less connected to them. Perhaps it's a function of age, but I have always been a skilled and dedicated FPS player.

  6. I hated BF2042 for multiple reasons but the biggest reason of all was the inclusion of AI bots into multiplayer, I get why they did it but it's awful. I got BF2042 for free and still won't be returning to that mess, I still play BF4 and BF1 tho

  7. Bad company 2 – Awesome fun game with amazing destruction, just lacking vehicles.
BF3 – Awesome fun game, a bit of a step down in destruction from bad company 2 but damn.
BF4 – Better from a technical viewpoint but the levels were meh and then it got weird…
    BF1 – Alternate history weirdness
BF5 – Read a book about WW2 and then had a crazed fever dream
BF2142 – We have no idea what we're doing

Battlefield peaked at Bad company 2/BF3 and should have kept up that line… But they just went absolutely weird with political inclusion BS instead.

  8. Honestly, Hardline was one of my favorite Battlefield games. I think the gun play was superb and the maps played perfectly with how it was designed. People only dog on it because of the theme cops versus robbers, but I think looking at it objectively as a game. It was very fun

  9. The whole 128 players things really added nothing anyway. It's just a number I could picture kids regurgitating to defend 'their game' at school. If the maps play well, the player count doesn't matter.

  10. still waiting for all the content and years of updates they promised with battlefield 5 also the last battlefield i ever purchased

  11. Frankie does a video that isn't some shill bullshit. ❤ seldom do we get heros return consistently with integrity.
