Makes sense. By sword logic, we should have taken Oryx's throne, but we didn't. IN GOTD, Xivu is dealing with the death of her brother. As someone who embraced the sword logic more than her siblings, she shouldn't care about who died. The weak perish, etc. She might make her own decision, away from the sword logic, and try to "inheret" Oryxs power.
My theory is that the “event” at the start of Heresy that brings Sloan back is gonna be Xivu using the Dreadnaught to destroy Titan.

My theory is in Heresy Xivu escapes with Oryx's sword, and we fly to other planets tracking her down, i.e.. "Frontiers".

My theory is that maybe in the beginning, we won't see xivu, at least until part 2 of the season.
First, we are gonna focus on the dread with taken power and all that.
The echo is replicating oryx from the memory of the dreadnought (because the dreadnought is part of oryx throne world, and a throne world is part of oryx power and oryx power is will. So maybe this could be the echo of will or something like that), we gonna get i a war with xivu for the control of the dreadnought and in the end we are gonna claim it with the ergo sum transform it into a dreadnought of light. Xivu will fade trying to get the rest of the echoes, and maybe in the next dlc, we are getting the power of take thabks to the echo and the dreadnought.

Ah so a theory similar to the D2 vanilla ending. Fun fact that ending will finally be coming full circle by going back to the Dreadnaught like it should
The sword she's reaching for isn't the one that oryx had in taken king. It would be one that belonged to him or maybe it's something else seeing how there's a lot of stuff relating to hive swords in the previews they've shown for heresy.
I think that because Eris locked Xivu out of her own Throne World, and Oryx made the Dreadnaught into his Throne World, Xivu will try to claim the Dreadnaught as her Throne World. If she has a route to the Ascendant Plane, then she should be able to get back to her own Throne World, and Oryx left a portal to the Ascendant Plane in the Dreadnaught
Love this game, but man Bungie could not be more ASS when it comes to breaking down the lore of this story, they made Destiny so confusing to try to understand
But didn't oryx's sword like get dismembered in the taken king with eris? Might be slow but still
