CS2 suddenly lets you move bodies with grenades. WHY? I don’t know, but in this video you’ll see it happening… a LOT

  1. Cs2 ruined grenades because the collision geometry is just too detailed now, the grenades bounce to seemingly random directions from every little nook and cranny which is really annoying. And now this?! Give us CSGO back as vannila game without skins. I will pay 60 dollars for it and play it for another 25 years.

  2. Bodies didnt share the same physics randomness with all players. Did they change something for the bodies to behave the same as guns where guns are behaving the same on everyone's screen? Since the body is the same on everyone's screen, there wont be an unfair advantage where some player's vision is blocked by a dead body and some player's isnt.

  3. Are these ragdolls client-sided? As in, can they appear differently for each player?

    Because if so, hiding bombs with them could be unreliable

  4. why dont they get the output from the damage math and just shove it into a function with a motion vector for body explosion flinging?

  5. Aren't ragdolls client-sided?
    It happened many times where I saw a ragdoll just slightly somewhere else than my friend did.
    That would render this new techinque irelevant

  6. Does this happen to coincide with "fixing" the decoy bug (mouse2 decoy on top of vertigo t spawn tv)? Is it even fixed, I don't know.
    I saw this happen too and was like wtf for 0,5sec which changed to "huh" and I kinda forgot about it until it happened again.
    I do like mystery and also cs so this is a mix that tingles me especially 🙂

  7. Philip you missed something here… since the latest update you can now throw grenades trough your teammates body's when they are still alive. They don't collide anymore. Quite handy on rushes for example. This does not happen if you throw nades at opponents. they will still collide.
