Watched this live I got goosebumps.
I travelled from the US for Shanghai to watch the grand final. I was in the stadium live when this happened. The thundering shouting across the stadium when this happened was so insane that I still hear it in my dreams.

Everybody was LOCKED IN on that round. If they were anymore locked in they would be in PRISON.
1:46 It was THAT close. ropz was at 3 HP, AUG does kill with a one shot headshot but at a certain range (more than ~200 hammer units), because of damage falloff, it still requires 2 headshots much like any other CT rifle. If magixx had gotten closer, the AUG could've dealt slightly more damage AND be within that range where the AUG could kill ropz with the headshot.
What a masterpiece all around.

Honestly as someone who was personally routing for Spirit (I like new blood & up and comers and just felt like after a year of straight dominance donk deserved the win), I still think that faze play was insane and if they ended up taking the trophy after such an insane round how could anyone be mad. I honestly think valve should still make it a spray even though faze didn't win, I thought a cool idea could be a broken heart, one side Rain and one side Ropz but alas this will never be seen and the spray will never happen. It would be cool though.
The CAST and Dimitri are literally the backbone of this game RN!!!

No doubt Spunj and Machine are good but somehow I just feel Scrawny and Launders are just better. Scrawny is a better hype man than machine and Launders will always have greater insights and starts from the rounds and the game. But yeah sometimes Launders gets much more technical with the game than required.
