The response to Sony’s pricing of the PlayStation 5 Pro is less than ideal (to put it nicely). While rumors ran rampant over the mid-gen console for months, with many hoping it would lead to the arrival of next-gen gaming, it’s more of a luxury device, and that’s before factoring in the additional costs for a disc drive and vertical stand.
While the hardware reveal wasn’t awful, the lack of any real jump in the CPU has drawn some criticism. Above all, it fuels arguments regarding Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto 6 and how it won’t run in 60 frames per second on the console. Leave aside that we haven’t seen any extensive gameplay for the title, there’s no indication that this is the case.
Let’s dive deeper into the argument about GTA 6 not running at 60 FPS on PS5 Pro and why it’s a little overblown.

GTA 5 runs 60fps on my steam deck so that’s not a good argument 🤦🏻

the best way to affront GTA 6 is just wait the game come out for public, them wait " our favorite youtubers " start to analyzing the game in different platform so we can decide which one is the best for us..
1080p upscaled to 4K with PSSR and at least 1 mode where the framerate is *unlocked and can at least stay above 48fps on PS5 Pro and at least people with a 120hz display with VRR would have *60fps. So yeah, it’s possible. We don’t even know how large the world will be. They can only make them so large. What if it’s not as big as GTA5? There’s tons of things to consider. One thing is for damn sure though, Rockstar NEVER releases these games at 60fps. Then again they were releasing games on pretty crappy hardware back then compared to what is available.

To anyone thinking of blowing close to $1000 for this junk: you can instead buy an entire gaming prebuilt with an RTX 3070 or 4060/Ti for the same price (if not a little cheaper,) and you'll be able to pretty much play any game you want at 60fps at 1440p, and you have the option to upgrade to better components later on…plus it can do computer things and not just play games (hell, Sony wont even give you a browser anymore because they're terrified of people jailbreaking their own property.) I also recommend never listening to any of these gaming media channels when they're specifically trying to shill for a product that has generally negative public perception by specifically telling you that whatever the public's criticism is, is "OVERBLOWN" in all caps.
The PS5 pro simply is asking for too much and delivering too little to justify the price and also the fact that it doesn't have a disc tray is disgusting as that's a newer tactic in the industry to stop people from sharing game's and movies/ TV show's with friends and family… Let's not let the industry normalize these bad business practices vote with your wallet and they will stop the BS.
I'm a PC gamer and from where I'm sitting Sony is taking you all to the cleaners on Playstation 5 Pro. What a joke it is to be even considering 30FPS in 2024 and at these prices!

Ps6 needs to be 2030 minimum in my opinion . There's already hardly any good games . And Microsoft bought up loads of developers so we're in for a tough few years of gaming on consoles at least . No way am i buying a ps5 pro for a tiny bit more pixels . Men will though cos you're all losers 😂
tbh hopefully they fix the clunkyness of gta where it feels soooo frustrating to move around and aim your gun. its bad and tbh it makes me wanna uninstall sometimes.
