So, I bought a CPU about a month ago. In the first few days, I set the frequency to 5300 with a voltage of 1.3, and everything worked perfectly, with the temperature in AIDA not exceeding 82°C. I bought a frame for the CPU at a discount, and after installation, the BIOS did reset to default values. I restored all the settings related to my memory, but forgot to adjust the voltage, so the processor has been running at 5300 MHz with (Auto) around 1.2V since then. Now the computer has started shutting down or not booting at all. After lowering the frequency to default, everything works as it should, but now the PC won't boot even at 4800, though it constantly shows this frequency during tests in hWinfo. What could have gone wrong?
