AIDA64 + Zentimings for EXPO profile
Running a Gigabyte B550i Aorus Pro AX rev1.1 with a 5800X3D.
Attempted some RAM OC'ing yesterday, tried FCLK 1867Mhz and memory at 3733, couldn't post so had to flash BIOS through Q Flash (can't access CMOS jumper with vertical GPU). I hadn't fully read through the DDR4 OC guide but I was adjusting some timings based on other people's recs on the same CPU. Adjusted some VDDP/VDDG and SOC voltages based on a reddit guide, but didn't succeed. New to RAM OC, but not new to OC'ing. Have a bunch of Buildzoid videos and the DDR4 mem OC guide open, read through the guide once.
Mainly looking to get tFAW down, or whatever gives the biggest impact to 1% lows – I play DCS World in VR a lot and it's very RAM and cache heavy. If possible I'd like to run 3733 MHz RAM and 1866 FCLK, but I'd prefer to see real world improvements. Also
It's a Hynix kit I think but I haven't been able to find the IC"s definitively.
One thing that surprised me is the L3 cache speeds – people typically get around 600GB/s for all the section but I'm way below that, any way to fix? (Edit: Tried a newer AIDA64 version, that gave me ~600 GB/s for basically everything).
Spread spectrum is disabled, CPPC on and CPPC preferred cores on. -30 CO except for my best core that's at -15 CO. 142W PPT, 95 TDC and 120 EDC.
