Ignore the mess, I am deep in the throes of my Masters and having 4 kids under 4.. but I’m looking for thoughts on how I can really make the space look and feel better. For now, I have the following ideas:
1. I’d like to paint the wall, at least behind the monitors, a sage green.
2. I am wanting to change desk color to a black/brown or some sort, but don’t want it to be too dark with the green so I’m undecided. This is a basement space that has some weird shaping so it’s hard to think it through.
3. I also think I’d like to move to 2 monitors where they are currently positioned, with a tabletop standing desk on the left. I do way too much sitting lately and think I’d like to have the option to stand even with just 1 monitor.
4. More plants for sure.
5. A different desk lighting. This is an old lamp we had that I put here so the harsher ceiling light wasn’t my only option when I’m down.
Beyond that, I am open to many suggestions on how I can improve! I have been following and saving so many posts on this sub that I’m a bit overwhelmed and have every direction I’d like to go all merged into a mess… Thanks!
