I'm a noob overclocker, especially in the RAM field, and I wish to learn how memory timings, but everywhere I look, I can only find something like "Easy timings" that will work on any 99% of the ram sticks or something similar (e.g. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dlYxmRcdLVw ), but, even though these actually work and improve I don't know why they work and how to improve on that, I want to understand what I'm doing so that I can improve my RAM overclock.

I believe I've already achieved something quite better than the "out of the box" EXPO settings, with my kit, but I just can't understand if my timings make sense, because if I understood correctly, lower is not always better, there are some relations between timings and stuff.

Just for reference, this is the kit I have F5-6000J3636F16GX2-FX5 – Overview – G.SKILL International Enterprise Co., Ltd. (gskill.com) and these are my current timings:

I've got some information from this other reddit post (also from r/overclocking ) Demystifying Memory Overclocking on Ryzen: OC Guidelines and Explaining Subtimings, Resistances, Voltages, and More! : r/overclocking (reddit.com), but it's 6 years old and DDR4 focused, so I'm never sure if everything still applies the same way or not, also, it's cleary not from an expert, I still think it's great advice and people seemed to agree with most information, so don't get me wrong I'm in no way saying it was a useless post or anything, it's just that I'm looking for something deeper, something that will tell me "lowering this timing will do this that will impact that".

Btw I haven't mentioned it, but I'm also talking about those resistances (ProcOdt, ProcCaDs, etc.), because I as far as I understood, these also impact overclocking (even if the impact is smaller), or not, as I sad, I'm a noob in this field, so I'll accept if you tell me this is irrelevant or not as long as you explain me why.
