TL;DR
Does anyone know any other game focused lore videos like this one for Black ops 1, 2 and 3
My fellow Zombies enthusiasts and long time lovers!
I thought I’d come here to see if someone could potentially point me in the right direction!
I’ve been playing all the cods recently in prep for Black Ops 6 as it will most likely be the last cod I really sink my time into. I’ve also been playing the zombies maps for fun along the way and my partner asked me what the lore is and why I’ve been so attached to story for so many years.
I tried looking up some lore videos of the entire timeline but the thought of trying to give someone a glimpse into why I fell in love with the story in a 3-6 hours worth of videos feels nonsensical to me if they know nothing about it.
I think why most of us fell in love with the story is the journey of learning things as they’re coming out.
I decided to hunt for videos that explain the lore in each game map by map to show the journey of discovering how much bigger the story was getting per release. I found this World at War video which went over most of the lore that was unavailable at the time. It was very easy to understand and be intrigued by the mystery and what is to come. However I can’t find any videos remotely like that unless it’s Black Ops 4 onwards. I remember watching videos like this when I was getting into Zombies back in 2011 trying to understand the lore at the time so where have those videos gone? Has the algorithm pushed it so far from existence?
