What's your favorite "aesthetic" case right now? Going more earth tones vs RGB. I have a Fractal Design Define C, but it's too small for the GPU I'm getting (6800). Need some recommendations, the North case from Fractal Design seems cool, any other interesting wood/earth tone cases? Showing off the GPU and noctua fans would be nice.

I find most styled cases to be dated relatively quickly, so I avoid them. Things like the Hyte V series and the Lian Li cases are “boring” in that they’re just big ass dual chamber cases, but they have so much room you can do whatever you want with them.
NZXT 700 series. They’ll last 20 years, plenty of space, modular design, easy cable management. They’re simple, clean, and elegant.

I have a North, it’s alright. I wish the front was a little more opaque and it’s can be small for the new cards. I had to drop a fan off the front to get my 4070ti to fit.
I have a Fractal Torrent and it’s my fav. Also looks great with all lights off.

I bought that case recently, I like it. Super chill and fits my wood grain ass bedroom.
The ones that are gonna age like shit are the weird 5 sided ones that are just cases full of mirrors and glass for rgb.
If you want more adult looking cases yeah, options have been limited, lol. I’m using Phantek case right now. It’s clean and not overly gamey looking. Their Evolv Shift itx cases look great. I looked into that but that require me basically buying a whole new computer since I’m using standard atx motherboard. But in the future I’m considering a mini itx or similar smaller footprint build that’s also clean and minimalistic. Corsair has just released new cases too.
Have you also thought about open chassis cases?

I have the fractal north. Turned off all rgb and it looks fantastic next to my desk. Included fans are pretty good as well after a bit of tuning.
Corsair 6500X 😍
I heard enough complaints about the fractal that I ended up going with the Corsair 5000d and upgrading to the teak wood plates. It’s not the best value proposition, but I’m happy with it.
I have that exact fractal north case. It’s simply beautiful, the wood looks really good on it.
I have this case in white with noctua fans. It makes me very happy.
