13900K CPU.
So in Intel XTU, I put…
- 58x for all Performance Active-Core Tuning (where you set TVB table)
- Performance Per-Core Tuning: all 58x
And I see 58 boost more often. Obviously not on all core because that's hitting power and thermal limits. My power limits are all lame, but it seems to still work just fine. I run 125/125/307 (90c temp limit).
Question is, is this all I need to do? Am I missing something? It just seem to work just fine?
I only want the best single-thread perf since my app is very single threaded. And by default, only 2 active cores will allow for 5.8 boost. Not anymore though.
Here is what it looks like: https://imgur.com/a/4mK2QOx
Thanks and sorry for the noob question!
Ps.: yes, the latest eTVB bios is applied and I started using this CPU after the initial "Intel Default Settings" BIOS update where I set 125/125/249 by hand (& 90c).
