I know I'm not alone, and I know I'm not crazy, so I decided to do a comparison video. After update 30.2, my PUBG graphics took a MASSIVE nosedive, to borderline unplayable. But my friend who is running a very similar setup didn't see the same degradation.

Video Left (friend): Xbox Series X + LG 27" IPS 1440p / 120 hz

Video Right (mine): Xbox Series X + Lenovo Legion 27" IPS 1440p / 120 hz

Both games are using the same exact settings, like-for-like, in the Xbox Video settings and in-game. Anti-aliasing is set to FXAA for both (I am aware that TAA will remedy some of the fence pattern happenings, but I didn't *need* this before the update). My video on the right is a clear degradation of quality, in both aliasing and texture loading (look at the rocks and trees for example). Details are complete mush. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game *twice*, with no luck.

Please, for the love of this game Krafton, address this issue for the seemingly small subset of players that were affected by this update.

UPDATE: I happened to live close to said friend. I swapped his Xbox (settings unchanged) into my monitor setup (settings unchanged), and the graphics look as they used to (before the update). So whatever happened to the graphics is not specific to user equipment — it is a backend issue on Krafton's side. Link below.
