Hi,
I have a brand new Latitude 7440 with a Core i7 1365U CPU that is periodically unbearably slow. I thought it was thermal throttling so I checked HWINFO64. And it appears it has Core Power Limit Exceeded=Yes and Package/Ring Power Limit Exceeded=Yes.
This happens under regular office workloads like having a browser open, Word, Excel, etc.
Any idea what this means?
Does it indicate a hardware fault?
The laptop is on AC power via my Dell WD19TB USB-C dock.
