Today, I am going to talk about the Rival-9, specifically with the JAK Headhunter Kit equipped. This weapon recieved a buff in the Season 4 update and is now one of the best weapons in the game, arguably the best.

Let’s get into why this gun is so great. First, the headshot multiplier is extremely high. It is one of the few weapons in the game with over a 6x crit multiplier. Second, the base damage isn’t bad either, which will allow you to deal very high damage per bullet. This gun is capable of a two shot against tier 3 zombies and a three shot kill (one burst) against tier 3 armored zombies. This gun also has a very high fire rate. These things combined allow it to clear hoards effectively.
When it comes to specials and elites, the average damage per second on this gun will allow it to completely shred them. This is one of the few guns in the game capable of dealing over 100 thousand damage per second, the other guns being snipers that cannot clear hoards effectively. This weapon also has a great range profile, allowing you to carry that damage out to some distance (which is mainly important for mega abominations).
The only real downside to this gun is that fact that it is burst. However, it is a hybrid full-auto burst weapon so you can just hold down the trigger. As far as downsides go, this one really is not that bad.
