My brother gave me a monitor he found that was at least 8 years old and hasn’t been used in years. It started to turn off randomly after a few months and it became unbearable to use, so I opened it up to see what was wrong and found what I think is water damage so I cleaned it with alcohol and a toothbrush. It turned on and hasn’t turned off in an hour (it would turn off like every 2 minutes) so I think it is repaired or at least repaired enough to work for at least another year. I’m 16 btw and didn’t mess anything up so I’m also proud of that. (Pics 1-3 are when I started scrubbing, 4 is the side with the power connector and 5 is the monitor working again)
