Hi guys – I have some experience overclocking b-die, but I've recently run into some hurdles when I got another 2x8gb kit to run a total 4x8gb dual rank configuration.
This is the fastest I could get my setup so far. I really would like to get to CL14 at 3800 MHz, and turn GDM off if possible, but I cannot find a setting that will pass even 1 cycle of memtest. Unfortunately, my motherboard maxes out at 1.5V VDIMM (Gigabyte B450m DS3H WiFi). Are there any timings I could relax, or resistance settings I could change, to get that CL14 tCL timing?
I don't think I have spectacular bins of b-die. Both are GSkill, 2 DIMMs TridentZ 4000C19, and the other 2 DIMMs are FlareX 3200C14. The TridentZ is slightly faster on its own (can run 3800C15 vs C16). Appreciate any advice or insight. 🙂
