Sweet Sixteen Notes
- Origins, Mob, and Der Eisendrache are capital D for Dominant. We knew that going in but it is scary how big they are. What was interesting was Shadows of Evil was not dominant. Maybe it is because it versed Kino Der Nostalgia but maybe it isn’t on the level of the other three.
- Ancient Evil took out the best non Treyarch map. Zombies in Spaceland is the best non Treyarch map and it is not close. No other map would have made it to the Sweet Sixteen and gave Ancient Evil a good run. This shows the community doesn’t support non Treyarch really.
- Call of the Dead beats Gorod Krovi by a mere 1 vote. Absolutely insane Gorod Krovi is the first map in my personal top 5 out of the tournament. Was it robbed? What do you guys think?
Biggest Suprise: Shang beating IX
Most Dominant Win: Mob of the Dead beats Moon by 87 votes
Closest Matchup: Call of the Dead beats Gorod Krovi by one vote. 67-66. This was the closest matchup in the entire tournament.
Best Map Eliminated: Gorod Krovi
Worst Map Moving On: Still Shangri La (Shangri La is having a nice Cinderella run and although I don’t agree I am loving it
